After graduating from veterinary school, Dr. Uhl pursued a rotating internship followed by a surgery residency at the University of Minnesota. During his residency, he served for two years as Chief Resident and sat on the Medical Review Board at the hospital. He finished his residency in July 2014 and worked in private practice in Sacramento before Summit Veterinary Surgery Service in April 2018. Dr. Uhl is trained in orthopedic, neurologic, soft tissue, and minimally invasive procedures and is particularly interested in surgical oncology.

Wendy Bosson, RVT
Wendy Bosson, RVT, started in veterinary medicine in 2004 as a veterinary assistant. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Poultry Medicine at UC Davis in 2009. Wendy received her RVT license in 2015 and has worked in multiple specialty hospitals and found that she enjoys the surgery department. In 2019, Wendy joined Summit Veterinarian Services. Wendy hopes to continue to grow as a technician while providing support and guidance for other technicians.
Wendy enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, cooking, and crafting in her free time.
Dr. Katja Lin, DVM, DACVS-SA
Dr. Katja Lin works alongside her good friend and owner Dr. Justin Uhl. Dr. Lin graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006 and completed a Small Animal Rotating Internship at the same institution.
In 2008 Dr. Lin was taken on as an Orthopedic Research Fellow at the Orthopedic Research Lab at the University of Minnesota, where she started two prospective research projects. Both studies led to multiple national conference presentations and peer-reviewed journal publications.
During her Small Animal Surgical Residency Program at the University of Minnesota in 2009, she spent time performing mobile surgeries at dozens of practices around the Las Vegas valley. Through this experience, she learned to appreciate the challenges and nuances of mobile practice and decided that Summit Veterinary Surgery Service is where she wanted to practice.
Dr. Lin has a deep passion for canine musculoskeletal health and has committed herself to the field by staying involved through the Veterinary Orthopedic Society, where she serves on the board and is an active member of the Continuing Education Committee for the American College of Veterinary Surgeons and is part of the faculty track of North American, a prestigious organization committed to raising the bar in teaching orthopedic surgery.
Dr. Lin still lives in a small village outside of Las Vegas, where she enjoys the desert lifestyle, spending as much time outside climbing, trail running, mountain biking, and hiking with her dog Rokee.
